Dr. Lindell is a board-certified Primary Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed to treat individuals of all ages. Dr. Lindell has been the nursing field for over 20 years. She graduated in 2008 from the College of St. Scholastica of Duluth, MN with a Master's Degree in nursing, and was certified as a Family Nursing Practitioner; in 2009 she received a post-graduate certification as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Lindell returned to the College of St. Scholastica in 2011, with an area of study focused on the treatment of mental health disorders, and was certified as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2013. Dr. Lindell started her business in 2014 by providing on-site services to nursing homes.
Dr. Lindell opened a private mental health clinic in Bemidji, MN in 2015 to meet the needs of the community and surrounding areas, with a holistic approach to care.
Dr. Lindell has focused her professional advancement in the field of mental health, and has achieved a doctorate in nursing practice in 2016 from graduate from the College of St. Scholastica.
Rita Moen graduated from Capella University in 2015 with a graduate degree in mental health counseling and also received a certificate in addictive behaviors. She is currently a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and furthered her education to become a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), as well. Mental health counselors use a variety of tools and techniques to help individuals deal with life issues. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Emotional Freedom Techniques therapy (EFT) and Gestalt therapy, Rita adapts these tools to meet the client's needs. Working with children as young as five, Rita will see children, adolescents, and adults for individual psychotherapy. She is also available for couples therapy. Rita has experience working in school settings, community mental health offices, jails, and non-profit organizations; and is excited to be working with Lindell Consulting to bring an individualized approach to mental health services to the people of the Bemidji area.
